2. Information we collect
We may collect information you voluntarily provide, including your name, email address, phone number, employer details, job advert details, CV-service order details, proof-of-payment references, advertising assets and messages sent through WhatsApp or email. We also collect limited technical information such as device type, browser type, page views, referral source, approximate location/province, saved listings, theme preferences and traffic analytics.

How to Complete a Z83 Form Correctly
The Z83 is the official application form for all South African Public Service posts. An incomplete or incorrect Z83 means automatic disqualification. Always use the updated 2021 version — download it free from any government department's official website.
Key Sections
Section A: Post name and reference number — must match the advert exactly. Submit a separate Z83 for each post.
Section B: Personal info — use your name exactly as on your SA ID.
Section C: Employment history — include volunteer work if no formal experience.
Sections D & E: You do NOT need certified copies at application stage. Answer criminal record questions honestly.
Declaration: Must be signed — unsigned forms are invalid.
💡 Keep a signed copy of every Z83 with its reference number and closing date.
The Ultimate Guide to 2026 NSFAS Applications
NSFAS funds tertiary education for students from households earning R350,000 or less per year. It covers tuition, accommodation, food, transport, and learning materials at public universities and TVET colleges.
How to Apply
Apply at my.nsfas.org.za. Create an account with your SA ID and email, complete your household income details, and upload your ID, parents' IDs, and proof of income. Apply in Grade 12 — don't wait for matric results.
💡 NSFAS is free to apply for. Report fee requests to 0800 067 327 (toll-free).
Learnerships vs Internships vs Apprenticeships
📘 Learnership: Theory + on-the-job training. Earns an NQF qualification. 12 months, monthly stipend (R2,500–R5,000). Best for school leavers wanting a formal qualification.
Internship: Practical experience for graduates. 12 months. No additional qualification — value is experience and networks. Many lead to permanent jobs.
🔧 Apprenticeship: Skilled trades (electrician, plumber, welder). 3–4 years. Earns a Certificate of Competence as a qualified artisan. High demand in mining, construction, manufacturing.
How to Spot Job Scams in South Africa
🚩 They ask you to pay — Legitimate employers NEVER charge fees. Walk away immediately.
🚩 Unsolicited offer — You didn't apply but got a job offer via WhatsApp or SMS. Verify on the company's official website.
🚩 Unrealistic salary — R25,000/month for no experience. If it sounds too good, it's a scam.
🚩 Gmail/Yahoo company email — Real companies use corporate email addresses.
🚩 Banking details requested early — Only needed during official HR onboarding, never at application stage.
